		<description>Yeh if I remember rightly i think I had issues with it being power hungry but I think that was down to me also running a Behringer BCD2000 as a controller/iterface at the same time and I think it was just too much for my laptop to share the power.

As for the USB, it is 1.1 so i shall correct that, in fact that simply clarifies this as an even better interface pushing all that audio at low latency using only USB 1.1, cheers Dave. I use this interface too in my home studio setup (it&#039;s only a small setup for now).</description>

It&#039;s very well built, good sound quality, 2 headphone sockets (with separate volumes) and a cracking set of software included (some great FX - including filters etc from the SuperNova - and a version of Novation&#039;s Virtual BassStation). It does seem to draw a lot of power from the USB bus though (my laptop won&#039;t start with it in one of the USB slots - presumably &#039;cos it can&#039;t supply enough power to that slot). Also, I think the Nio is actually USB 1.1. rather than USB 2?</description>
