Kore Blimey, It’s So Simple!

KoreKore 2 is an innovative software come hardware package from Native Instruments, presenting a comprehensive library of production-ready sounds and effects with a very powerful hardware interface. Based on the sound engines incorporated in Reaktor, Massive, Absynth, FM8, Kontakt and Guitar Rig, the range of different sounds is huge, from sharp synths to warm orchestral pads.

Use the jog wheel to navigate through the huge sound bank with ease and precision, and the detailed filtering system which gradually reduces the list of sounds to your specification makes looking for the desired sound simple, for example filter basses by analogue/digital etc. and again by thin/fat/soft and so on. All this which can be used in Ableton/Sonar/Cubase amongst others as a VST plugin or via ReWire.

The controller is a sleek, robust and beautifully engineered bit of kit. 8 touch-sensitive knobs and 8 buttons allow you to minipulate the sounds within the software, which gives it a more hands on, hardware synth feel. It can also be used as a MIDI controller and mapped in the likes of Ableton Live and Traktor etc.
